General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for restaurants, hotels, catering, events, and event locations

Prices & Validity

  • All prices are quoted in CHF (Swiss francs).
  • The terms and conditions are part of all offers.
  • Prices quoted in brochures, on websites, etc. are non-binding and for informational purposes only.
  • Prices are subject to change and may vary due to seasonal availability and fluctuating product prices. The current prices apply.

number of persons

  • The final number of participants must be announced no later than 14 working days before the event.
  • This figure serves as the basis for purchasing, production, personnel planning, and billing.
  • The reported amount will be charged in full.
  • If the number of guests increases, we will endeavor to cater for additional guests. These will be charged accordingly.

staff costs

  • Employee costs are charged according to actual expenditure.
  • The cost estimate is a non-binding estimate and may vary depending on time frames, additional or modified customer requirements, and unforeseen additional expenses.

Provisioning & Administration

  • Expenses for quotations, administration, provision, preparation, and follow-up work may be invoiced, even if the event does not take place.

cancellation

In case of cancellation of the entire event/banquet/hotel:

  • Up to 8 weeks before the event: 0%
  • Up to 4 weeks before the event: 50%
  • Less than 4 weeks before the event: 80% of lost revenue

If the event is rescheduled within 6 months under the same conditions, 30% of the cancellation costs will be credited.

If an event is canceled prematurely (more than 8 weeks in advance), we reserve the right to retain the deposit invoice. If we are able to rebook the date, we will refund the deposit in full.


allowances

  • Night allowances after midnight and any trade licensing fees are shown and charged separately.

down payment

  • 30% of the cost estimate
  • After accepting our offer, we will confirm the date and send you the deposit invoice.
  • Once payment has been made, your event is firmly reserved and binding.
  • Adjustments to the offer and products are also possible at any time thereafter.

payment

  • The invoice amount is due within 10 days of the invoice date without deduction.
  • The invoice will be sent to the email address provided.

liability

  • Insurance: The organizer is responsible for exhibits and other items brought to the event.
  • Liability: The organizer bears the risks, unless legally liable.
  • Damage to rental properties: Any damage found will be repaired at the expense of the tenant, i.e., the contracting party.
  • The company is liable for damages to its employees if they were booked on behalf of the company. Or if they were booked by a person from a company. These persons are also liable for bookings made for another or other persons.

recognition

By accepting the offer (in writing or verbally), the contractual partner confirms that they have received, read, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.


jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Egerkingen.
